About the Author
John T. McBride is General Counsel of PlanSimpli, LLC, a leading tech services company, a partner at Carlo & McBride LLC, a business and estate planning law firm, and founder of Wyoming Back Office, LLC, an administrative services business that helps entrepreneurs organize Wyoming limited liability companies.
He earned his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School and an LL.M. in Taxation with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.
After beginning law school at a regional school and transferring after his first year, John began mentoring law students on the approach that became Becoming an Elite 1L— a practical guide built from lessons he has shared with students since his second year of law school.
